WordPress ships with a lot of defaults: extras in the page header, background tasks, comment forms, update emails, and more. Many of them are useful on some sites and noise on others. Falcon gathers those choices into one settings screen so you can turn things on or off without installing a separate plugin for each tweak.
This section explains every area of the plugin. Settings live under Settings → Falcon in the WordPress admin. Each page below matches a tab (and, where needed, a sub-tab) so you can read about an option before you enable it.
Feature areas
- Performance - make pages load faster with caching and lighter asset delivery. Includes a dedicated Cache page.
- Security - harden common weak spots such as login, XML-RPC, uploads, and public site details.
- Cleanup - remove clutter from the page header, admin screens, front end markup, and leftover database data.
- Content - adjust the editor, comments, media uploads, and a few publishing behaviors.
- System - control deeper switches such as maintenance mode, updates, and admin tools.
- Email - quiet automatic notifications and improve how WordPress sends mail.
Cleanup
Cleanup is split into four smaller areas:
- Header - unused tags in the page
<head> - Admin - dashboard widgets and admin UI extras
- Frontend - front-end markup and assets you may not need
- Database - leftover data that builds up over time

Content covers how you write and publish:
- Editor - writing and saving content
- Comments - comments and the comment form
- Media - image uploads and related processing
- Publishing - search and self-pingback behavior
Email has two sides:
- Notifications - which automatic emails WordPress should stop sending
- Delivery - sender details and SMTP delivery
Turn options on only when they fit your site. If something looks risky for a live site, try it on staging first - or read the notes on that feature page before you enable it.
